Equifax Data Breach

As you may have heard, Equifax has experienced a massive data breach affecting 143 million Americans' personal data. This includes social security numbers, birthdates, addresses, credit card account numbers, and in some cases, Driver's license numbers. Essentially, all of the information many financials use to verify customers or members.

How to protect yourself:
  • Watch statements and online activity for unauthorized activity
  • Sign up for Card Alerts for your SharePoint credit and debit cards
  • Equifax has provided a direct line for you to call to determine whether or not you are part of the breach: (866) 447-7559
  • Sign up for free credit or ID theft monitoring services

Identity Theft Victim:
